At the Lozano Golf Center, we've worked hard over the years to develop a revolutionary way to teach and grow this great game to new golfers all around the Coastal Bend area.
Our Learn to Play Golf classes are tailored in a small group setting with other beginner golfers. We will teach you everything you need to know about stepping onto a golf course for the first time. The game of golf is a sport like no other – it’s a game that you can play and enjoy with friends, family and business associates for a lifetime. From the thrill of hitting a long straight shot, to the excitement of sinking that birdie putt, golf is a sport that never fails to challenge and delight.
Session 1 Tuesday and Thursday Learn to Play Golf classes are taught in the evening under the lights!
CLASS CURRICULUM
Class I – Putting (Putting fundamentals and understanding of etiquette and rules on the putting green.)
Class II – Chipping (Basic Fundamentals with the combination of game play pitching and putting.)
Class III – Pitching (Basic Fundamentals of Pitching with the combination of previous applicable skills.)
Class IV - Full Swing Irons and Driver (Basic fundamentals of the full swing w/irons and driver with the combination of previous applicable skills.)
Class V – On Course Play with instructors to practice what you've learned!
Tuition: $69 + $2.95 Registration Fee
2026 Session 1 Class Options (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays)

- Tuesday class: February 3rd - March 3rd @ 8:30pm-9:30pm (Learn to Play Under the Lights!)
- Thursday class: February 5th - March 5th @ 6:00pm-7:00pm (Learn to Play Under the Lights!)
- Saturday class: February 7th - March 7th @ 10:00am-11:00am
